Antigo Bass Lake Country Club was founded in 1926. A major renovation of the course was completed in 2001. The course is cut out of the deep northwoods with oak and pine trees lining the well manicured fairways. The front nine is tight while the back nine is hilly with water coming into play on at least seven of the eighteen holes.
The course is 4 star rated by Golf Digest Magazine. The roughs, fairways, tees and greens are always well maintained by Superintendent Dave VanAuken and his staff. Bass Lake Country Club is easily one of the best kept secrets in the Northwoods.
